Who we are

What this policy covers
This website only (satshield.com). The SATShield app will have its own privacy policy at launch.
What we collect
- Waitlist: email, your role (parent, student, tutor, teacher, other), optionally your or your student's grade, school/company name, and whether you want study tips.
- Contact form: name, email, role, topic, organization details you choose to share, and your message.
- Technical: the page you signed up from, campaign tags in the link (UTM), the referring site, country (from our hosting provider), and a one-way hashed version of your IP address used only to prevent spam.
- Analytics: Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies or track you across sites.
What we don't do
No selling or renting of data. No advertising trackers. No cookies for tracking.
How we use it
To email you about SATShield's launch, reply to messages, send study tips if you opted in, prevent spam, and understand which pages are useful.
Where it's stored
With Cloudflare (hosting, database and spam protection). [TODO(team): list any email provider used at launch]
How long we keep it
Waitlist data until 12 months after launch or until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Contact messages for up to 24 months.
Children
This website is intended for parents, guardians and educators. Students may join the waitlist only if they are 13 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13; if you believe we have, email us and we'll delete it.
Your choices and rights
Unsubscribe via any email link. Request access, correction or deletion at hello@satshield.com. [TODO(legal): state-specific rights, e.g. California]
